As in the rest of Europe, divorced Greek fathers are fighting for greater rights in bringing up their children. At the moment, more than 90% of custody cases are awarded to the mother. An article from the Athens News

this is a sad fact isnt it
speaking about parental rights when I was around 16 y.o the family I used to babysit (French/american) told me the story about the wife giving birth at Ygeia.

When it was time to leave the hospital the office will only had in the documents to the FATHER.

That was 22 years ago...
